One percent to help our local woodlands

1 minute

Without healthy local woodlands, there is no Brimstone. It’s that simple.

Woodland Tax

So, it makes sense that our purpose is to help local woodlands thrive.

But we know we can’t do this alone. Which is why we’re donating 1% of Brimstone revenue to organisations who share our mission.

How does it work?

We’re teaming up with passionate, bold, innovative individuals whose projects aim to connect people with woodlands.

Practical, creative, artistic, humorous or educational – we’re open minded about the projects we support. As long as they have local woodlands at their heart.

Are you reading this thinking – YES THAT’S ME! Then, we’d love to hear from you.

Here’s why…

Our woodlands are fantastic places, but they are in all kinds of trouble.

A massive number of our trees are dying from diseases, pests, pollution and drought. Climate change has a lot to answer for (or rather, we do, because we created it). At the same time our Government has failed to deliver on it’s pledge to plant millions of new trees every year. And almost half of the woodlands we do have are neglected.

To make things even worse, the typical reaction is: “yeah whatever”.

Racing through our busy, digital and increasingly urban lives, we’re so disconnected from nature that we’re not seeing it slip away.

It's time to wake up.

It’s time to drive change together

Do you have a brilliant creative project that connect people and woodlands, but not the money to make it happen?

If so, let’s chat.

Please email woodlandtax@vastern.co.uk, giving us a 100 word outline of your project – and if we can help, we’ll be in touch.
